Colourful Corners Quilt size 63 x 75

Materials required.

36 striped 10’’ squares

1 yard cut into 3’’ wide of white strips.

1 yard cut 4‘’ wide blue border strips.

Binding any colour of your choice

Measure finish quilt top for required backing fabric.

Steps to take.

Cut fabric into 10-inch squares so you have 36 squares in total.

Stack into groups of 6, you should have 6 groups all together.

Lay out 3 groups horizontal and the other 3 group vertical,

Cut each group from corner to corner or (point to point) as shown below

Take 1 half triangle from each group and match together

Sew front sides together using half an inch seam, continue for all cut squares.

Iron and press the seams to 1 side of the fabric, do this for all the squares.

At this point you need to layout the quilt as shown in the picture below or choose your own design, take a picture so you remember the layout and then stitch all together to form your quilt top.

Give your quilt top a press, measure you quilt, total all sides then divide by the WOF (width of fabric) as explained in the video, do this for both borders, stitch on the first border to the quilt, press and do the same for the next border.

Your quit top is now ready for batting and backing fabric.
